Philips has introduced a new Android dock, using Bluetooth pairing and an app to come up with an elegant speaker solution.
Android docks are a more difficult proposition than iOS devices because the devices do not conform to a standard setup.
Usefully, Philips has come up with a dock that allows you to charge your phone and take advantage of Bluetooth pairing, rather than relying on a line in method.

Launching with three different versions, the flagship £200 Philips Fidelio AS851 boasts a 30-watt output and Philips' proprietary digital sound processing.

Dock number two, the £130 Fidelio AS351 has a 10 watt output and includes dynamic bass boost which hopes to preserve the low tones.
On the cheaper side, is the Philips Fidelo AS111 which costs £70 and is designed to serve as a bedside dock.
Unsurprisingly, Philips has told Recombu that it is working on 'Airplay equivalent' Android Wireless HiFi docks in 2012.
Going on the amount of people looking for Android docks, this could well prove a hit for Philips, and the Dutch company will be hoping it can corner the market.
Lastly, Philips seemed to have nailed the design of the Android dock - it's a bit of a looker.
