If you're digging the look of the new Google bar but don't have it yet, this quick tweak will get it to you a little bit sooner.
To get the new bar, all you need to do is tweak one of Google's cookies, which you can do with the Edit This Cookie extension for Chrome. Once it's installed, head to Google.com and hit the extension's button. Navigate to the PREF section, and change its value to the following:
Apply your changes and reload the page. You should now have the new Google bar!
To do it in Firefox, just head to Google.com, hit Ctrl+Shift+K, and type this in the text box:
Hit Enter and the new Google bar should pop up. Thanks to all that sent this in.
